AIXHUMAN / CONTEXT

A maker village for
Physical AI ×
Expanded Humanities.

AIXHUMAN is one group advancing Physical AI × Expanded Humanities through research, making, education, and public exchange. Our maker village program connects robotics and fabrication with ethics, culture, and living systems. The architectural concepts below explore spaces for this shared work.

Digital fabrication

From idea to working prototype.

Shared workshops connect design and construction through 3D printing, CNC fabrication, model making, and hands-on experimentation. Physical AI × Expanded Humanities connects these technical experiments with questions of craft, labor, access, and public value.

02 / PROGRAM SPACE

Physical AI & robotics

Intelligence meets the physical world.

Robotics, sensing, and adaptive systems bring computation into contact with matter. Our program pairs these capabilities with humanistic inquiry into agency, responsibility, and everyday experience. The concept spaces support human–machine collaboration and prototypes at the scale of objects, buildings, and cities.

Learning by making

A classroom without disciplinary walls.

Flexible studios connect students, researchers, makers, and visiting practitioners. Workshops, critiques, and collaborative projects unite Physical AI × Expanded Humanities through technical skills, ecological thinking, design, history, and cultural inquiry.

Living materials

Grow the next generation of matter.

Materials research explores biofabrication, regenerative cycles, and new relationships between living systems and design. Bench experiments and material libraries connect physical experimentation with humanistic questions of care, stewardship, and our responsibilities to other forms of life.

05 / PUBLIC EXCHANGE

A forum for ideas in motion.

Talks, exhibitions, demonstrations, and community gatherings bring the work into public view. Physical AI × Expanded Humanities makes the lab a place for cultural inquiry and civic participation, where people can examine prototypes, question assumptions, and shape the work.

Make. Test. Learn. Share.

Physical AI × Expanded Humanities guides a continuous cycle: develop an idea in the studio, test it in the lab, build it in the workshop, and share it in the forum. Courtyards and common spaces connect each step, making room for encounters across disciplines.
